With only 30 days left of LAUSD summer break, the count down for last minute summer sessions has begun! Let's squeeze in some beach sessions before we get back to early bedtimes and 6am lunch packing!
All beach sessions booked/paid for in July qualify. Sessions may be held at a later date (think holiday card pictures at the beach? YES!)
First of all, WELCOME to my new website! After a week of serious frustration, some snapping at my husband and a few tears that were thankfully followed by "AH-HA!" moments I am so happy to finally share it with the world.
Who knew I was a web designer?? I sure didn't! I had been telling my self for a few years that to have a site like this I would have to pay for it. When in fact.. I just needed to quit Facebook for a week and FOCUS!
My website and blog are now ONE! No more confusing back and forth for you or me. I hope you will have a look around, but keep in mind I am still adding photos to galleries and making small tweeks!
To celebrate (really to thank my kids and husband for sticking it through "Christina pretending to be a website builder week") we headed to the beach for a much needed family day at the beach.
Here is a little peek at the fun we had.
Lex working hard!
Kara "catching a wave!"
Luke and Kara working together! haha
My boys ♥
How cool is this shot!!! Kara and daddy jumping over waves!
All of my loves...
And the last two photos of the night...

Over the weekend, my family headed to a wonderful cabin in Big Bear. I checked the weather for 2 weeks and knew it would be brisk overnight but expected 50's in the day. We brought food for BBQing, balls for playing outdoors. We planned on hiking to the lake... then it snowed!!!
SNOW!!!
My youngest two, having spent most/all of their lives living in L.A. had only ever experienced The Grove and Disneyland 'snow.'
They were ecstatic to say the least!
My youngest said "Is it gonna to be Christmas?" Naturally if there is snow it must be Christmas right?!?
They ran around in the snow in their jammies and rain boots all morning before heading back in to have hot cocoa by the fire.
We can not wait to go back up there in the winter and build a snowman!
