Every year we spend Christmas in Sacramento with my inlaws. This last year was extra special. We gifted Grandma and Auntie tickets to The SF Ballet Nutcracker! The day after Christmas all the girls headed to San Francisco. We went to the pier, had dinner at Scoma's before heading to the ballet. I was so excited to take Kara to her first real ballet and the SF Nutcracker did not disappoint! Snowfall, tutus, nutcrackers, Christmas trees... just magical! Hoping these girls days out in the city become a yearly Christmas tradition.

I met this family last year at their beautiful Pasadena home. In their yard with tomatoes growing and cloth diaper hung on the line to dry... The sun light shining through their blond hair and their happy babies and DOG made for the perfect family photos! The family dog... such a giant love! He let the kids crawl, climb and even sit on him without any fuss. He would just give me this look like... "yeah..
