Every year we spend Christmas in Sacramento with my inlaws. This last year was extra special. We gifted Grandma and Auntie tickets to The SF Ballet Nutcracker! The day after Christmas all the girls headed to San Francisco. We went to the pier, had dinner at Scoma's before heading to the ballet. I was so excited to take Kara to her first real ballet and the SF Nutcracker did not disappoint! Snowfall, tutus, nutcrackers, Christmas trees... just magical! Hoping these girls days out in the city become a yearly Christmas tradition.

First of all, WELCOME to my new website! After a week of serious frustration, some snapping at my husband and a few tears that were thankfully followed by "AH-HA!" moments I am so happy to finally share it with the world. Who knew I was a web designer?? I sure didn't! I had been telling my self for a few years that to have a site like this I would have to pay for it. When in fact.. I just needed to quit Facebook for a week and FOCUS! My website and blog are now ONE! No more confusing back and forth for you or me. I hope you will have a look around, but keep in mind I am still adding photos to galleries and making small tweeks! To celebrate (really to thank my kids and husband for sticking it through "Christina pretending to be a website builder week") we headed to the beach for a much needed family day at the beach. As I am wrapping up my sessions from 2013 I am so thankful for all the beautiful opportunities I had with my clients families. Choosing my 10 favorite images from the year wasn't easy. I chose these images for the emotions I feel when I look at them. I feel so blessed that these families chose me to share part of their life with them. Some for only and hour or two with their future baby, their newborn or their toddler. Others I spent days with patiently waiting to photograph their baby coming Eartside. Each time I felt like family as your welcomed me into your homes, let me swaddle up your newborn and trusted me enough to be at your birth. Thank you ALL from the bottom of my heart. These images are in no order as I can not pick a favorite. Also there are many many more I would have added but a "top 100" seemed a bit excessive! This moment candid moment at a nursing session.
