First dance class of the new year and Kara was looking festive in her new furry hooded jacket, ‘Shake it off’ leotard and rain boots!

These kids may be my most photographed kids, my own excluded. Their mother Margaret was one of my first friends here in Los Angeles. We met at a quilting club. My son Lex was about 2 months old, her son Runner just a few weeks. After a minute of talking we found we had much in common. Both having just had a homebirth = instant friends. haha A short time later she invited me to attend the homebirth of her second son Emerson. After a few years, many play dates, a few photoshoots, and a birth.. I present you with their latest family photos! Tahoe City

During our vacation we headed to Tahoe City for a day. We spent the day with family, walked at the beach and played at the park. It was a chilly but beautiful day. We had been hoping for a little snow for the kids to play in but there was only a dusting up at the peeks that day. Hoping this big storm this week brings the Seirra's lots and lots of snow that will stay long into the spring! Not sure if these two had ever been in 30 degree temps before. If running around at the park didn't warm them up these hot chocolates from Rosie's Cafe sure did!
