  • 10 Favorite Client Images of 2013 -Los Angeles Chrildren's Photographer

    • As I am wrapping up my sessions from 2013 I am so thankful for all the beautiful opportunities I had with my clients families. Choosing my 10 favorite images from the year wasn't easy. I chose these images for the emotions I feel when I look at them. I feel so blessed that these families chose me to share part of their life with them. Some for only and hour or two with their future baby, their newborn or their toddler. Others I spent days with patiently waiting to photograph their baby coming Eartside. Each time I felt like family as your welcomed me into your homes, let me swaddle up your newborn and trusted me enough to be at your birth. Thank you ALL from the bottom of my heart. These images are in no order as I can not pick a favorite. Also there are many many more I would have added but a "top 100" seemed a bit excessive!   This moment candid moment at a nursing session.   • Kara Justice Age 5! -Los Angeles Children Photography

    • My baby girl turned 5 this week! She is growing up more and more each day but being 5 is a pretty big deal! All week my husband and I thought about ways we could keep her 4 forever.. but we don't have super powers or magic wands and she wouldn't agree to wearing a stack of book on her head no matter how much we bribed her.  Can you believe it! She did agree to a birthday photoshoot! We played around our tower and then headed to the Hollywood Hill for some more photos at sunset.   • Luke is 13! - Los Angeles Teen Photography

    • This week my oldest son became a teenager! WOAH!!! Yeah Luke, who at 3 years old insisted he was Woody from Toy Story.. for a whole year..  is now 13.  He spent his birthday with me walking down La Brea and around our neighborhood taking pictures! #photographerskid haha I am so proud to be the mama to this little city kid!   • Kara Ballerina - Sophie Dance Recital

    • Sunday was a long awaited day for my 4 year old daughter Kara. She spent months preparing for her first dance recital with Sophie Dance.  Every week she wore her blue dance outfit among a class of pink tutus. She danced around our house teaching her brothers dance moves. She would ask daily if it was finally the big day and it would break our hearts to tell her "not yet." Finally.... The big day came and our little Tinker Bell danced her heart out on the big stage at the Wilshire Ebell Theartre. She was brave and beautiful and man did she nail that Arabesque! :)
