  • Magic and Make believe - Hollywood Family Lifestyle Photography

  • Stepping into this families home is like stepping into a fairy tale. I have been photographing them regularly since Theo, now 5, was 2 or 3 months old. Each time I am welcomed into a new world of magic and I have been photographing them regularly since Theo, now 5, was 2 or 3 months old. Each time I am welcomed into a new world of magic and make believe.  Their creativity and playfulness pull me in. It is impossible to spend a few hours with these kids and not become wrapped up in their pretend world of space travel or alternative realities where their pets have different names. Excited to share a tiny bit of their beautiful world of childhood with you.
  • Rain, Rain... -LA Lifestyle Photography

  • Kids all over L.A. awoke to something magical this morning. Water falling from the SKY!!! My kids live for the handful of rainy days a year to use their excessive amounts of rain gear they own. My daughter alone, owns 3 pair of rain boots! She literally could wear a different pair each time it rains a year! hahahaha Of course she wears them on the regular, you know, when it is 78 degrees in June, Kara is likely wearing rain boots. This morning, however, it was warranted. On the way to the car before school, my kids spent a few minutes enjoying this rare accumulation of water that fell from the sky. Magic!
  • Beach House! - Oxnard Family Photography

  • My family has spent many days at the beach but this one was special. My husbands Aunt invited us to a beach house in Oxnard. We spent the day in and out of the water, playing ball on the beach, bike riding (and a bicycle built for 2 riding!!) and of course hanging out with family. Since that weekend my kids, and I, have been boogie boarding weekly! Soo much fun. Excited for many more beach days, and shoots, before the year ends!
  • Before you go - Los Angeles Children's Photography

  • My family had a big week! On the 27th my daughter celebrated her 8th birthday. We had a little family celebration with the most delicious cake from Portos, and took her to the CA Science Center for the afternoon. Today though, is when her big celebrations starts. Grandma flew in late last night and this morning, all 3 of my kids headed to CAMP GRANDMAS! They will spend then next week camping in the Redwoods! Since I am going to miss them all so much, and because I hadn't done birthday pictures for Luke or Lex yet (bad photographer mommy) I found time one morning, bribed them all with leftover birthday cake for breakfast, and took these pictures! I am so in love with how they came out. While I am going to miss them like crazy, I am so excited for their adventure and plan on enjoying the clean quiet house with my husband while they are gone. This week is going to fly by and it will quickly be back to the summer madness.
  • Ari Is One! - Bay Area Children's Photographer

  • Happy Birthday sweet Ari girl! I was so excited to do a surprise photoshoot of her for her daddy on a recent trip to Northern CA. We drove through the valley and found the perfect poppy filled field for her 1st birthday pictures. We played and chased her around the flowers and paths. I hope now that her daddy is back on land that she is getting lots of daddy cuddles! I can't wait to see you again Ari!
  • Big Bear Cabin

  • Over the weekend, my family headed to a wonderful cabin in Big Bear.  I checked the weather for 2 weeks and knew it would be brisk overnight but expected 50's in the day. We brought food for BBQing, balls for playing outdoors. We planned on hiking to the lake... then it snowed!!! SNOW!!! My youngest two, having spent most/all of their lives living in L.A. had only ever experienced The Grove and Disneyland 'snow.' They were ecstatic to say the least! My youngest said "Is it gonna to be Christmas?" Naturally if there is snow it must be Christmas right?!? They ran around in the snow in their jammies and rain boots all morning before heading back in to have hot cocoa by the fire. We can not wait to go back up there in the winter and build a snowman!
  • Cast Off The New Year - Los Angeles Children's Photographer

  •   My daughter being in a cast was not exactly how we expected to spend our winter break. I was thinking of taking the kids to the snow while we were in Northern California. Possibly even snowboarding. When Kara came home with an injured elbow we had to change out plans a bit! So instead, we started our winter break a few days early and took it easy! She was such a trooper about the cast. She even went to see Santa (someone who she is normally not very fond of) and let him sign it! On the day her cast (filled with art and well wishes from her friends, family and Santa!) was the be removed I took some time to photographer her with it. It was a fun way to celebrate her healing and how brave she was those 2 weeks!
  • Tahoe City

  • During our vacation we headed to Tahoe City for a day. We spent the day with family, walked at the beach and played at the park. It was a chilly but beautiful day. We had been hoping for a little snow for the kids to play in but there was only a dusting up at the peeks that day. Hoping this big storm this week brings the Seirra's lots and lots of snow that will stay long into the spring!        Not sure if these two had ever been in 30 degree temps before. If running around at the park didn't warm them up these hot chocolates from Rosie's Cafe sure did!
