Ari Is One! – Bay Area Children’s Photographer
Happy Birthday sweet Ari girl!
I was so excited to do a surprise photoshoot of her for her daddy on a recent trip to Northern CA.
We drove through the valley and found the perfect poppy filled field for her 1st birthday pictures.
We played and chased her around the flowers and paths.
I hope now that her daddy is back on land that she is getting lots of daddy cuddles!
I can’t wait to see you again Ari!

Top 10 Personal Photos of 2013

Here is my top 10 personal photos I took this year! Some candid, some I put more thought and planning into and some that were planned and didn't turn out like I had envisioned yet I love just the same! I am so excited to watch how my babies grow and change in the next year and plan on capturing it all! My 2013 personal favs! Our home. This little space was meant to be our home for 18 months. 18 months turned into 4 years when we decided to stay in L.A. for second round at the L.A. Film School. We are in our last few months in this home and I am so grateful I took this imperfectly perfect shot from our life. Walking in on my 4 year old doing a little light reading... Fifth birthday shoot ♥ This photo is now my business card and Kara proudly hands them out to people she likes in public haha Lex's 3rd birthday shoot. This was a shoot photographers nightmares are made of. I picked the perfect time of day. Lex was well rested and seemingly in a good mood. I dressed him in a shirt he loves and headed outside. He, in all his 3 year old glory, wanted NOTHING to do with taking pictures. I was so frustrated as I really was excited to have some 1:1 shooting time with him like (as you can see) I get with Kara so often. After a short time I gave up. I walked back to the house sure that I had got nothing from our short trip of chasing and bribing.. then I opened up the pictures on my computer and fell in love. Sand behind her ears ♥ This. Oh how he loves her. Fishing. 13! Sophie Dance recital What may be my favorite photo I took ALL year. My Banksy balloon girl. xoxo
Banana Strawberry Yogurt - Los Angeles Lifestyle Photography

Yesterday my daughter woke up with a fever. She stayed in bed and cuddled me most of the day. Getting some (any) food in her was a priority and was thrilled when she requested yogurt! What better food than probiotics and fruit when your sick. I made this recipe for her yesterday and when she woke up feeling better this morning she asked for more. So I showed her how to make it herself, with a little help from her brother. I hope you and your kids enjoy this simple recipe as much as my kids did. What you need: Strawberries Bananas Plain yogurt Cut the tops off the strawberries Just like this... :) Get your bananas and make a phone call..... call your grandma and tell her about the yummy yogurt you are making! Now cut up the bananas Put the bananas and strawberries in the blender Add the yogurt... tasting some along the way is a good idea too! Blend it all up! Add any topping you like. My kids used bananas because they opened an extra but ground flax seed, strawberries, whipped cream.. all sound yummy too! Enjoy! If you make this or any other recipe on my blog with your kids share your pictures on my Facebook page! My kids would love to see them! xoxo Christina, Kara and Lex

Today we celebrated the birth of my youngest son Lex. I think this quote sums up my photos shoot with my newly 3 year old tonight... "Of all the animals, the boy is most unmanageable." -Plato Enjoy.. these photos truly are LEX! Happiest of birthdays my sweet boy! xoxo Mama
