Mountain Elopement – Camp Layman Truckee National Forest

This intimate mountain wedding Elopement was just dreamy.
Family and friends gathered to spend the whole wedding weekend at Camp Layman. This Northern California camp is tucked away in the Truckee National Forest in the small town of Graeagle. The grounds feature 13 rustic cabins and short hiking trail that lead to the Feather River. In the days before the wedding the river was the perfect spot for fishing and swimming. On the wedding day the river was a stunning backdrop for wedding portraits.

Samson is the newest edition to a family I have photographed for years. I also did big brother Jacob’s maternity and newborn sessions.
