Emmett - Los Angeles Newborn Photography
Even at a few weeks old, little Emmett was the tiniest baby I have photographed!
He was such a little love and his super relaxed family was so fun to spend the afternoon with.
Here are some pictures from his session….

Kara Ballerina - Sophie Dance Recital
Sunday was a long awaited day for my 4 year old daughter Kara. She spent months preparing for her first dance recital with Sophie Dance. Every week she wore her blue dance outfit among a class of pink tutus. She danced around our house teaching her brothers dance moves. She would ask daily if it was finally the big day and it would break our hearts to tell her “not yet.” Finally…. The big day came and our little Tinker Bell danced her heart out on the big stage at the Wilshire Ebell Theartre. She was brave and beautiful and man did she nail that Arabesque! 🙂
Eleanore 10 Days New - Santa Monica Newborn Photography
I met Miss Eleanore when she was just 10 days old. Her home, with big brothers toys mixed in with all the newborn goodies, was just walking distance to the beach!
Her parents, so relaxed and fun, reminded me much of my husband and I.
Eleanore was a “dream baby” meaning… she was dreaming the entire shoot! haha
She only woke to get changed nursed back to sleep and was ready for more pictures!
Here she is…. I hope you enjoy.

A Look Back - Woodland Baby Photography
I love getting to watch past clients grow up. Lucie’s mom and i have been friends for year. When I am in Northern California I always try to visit them them and do mini shoots for their family. This last visit I couldn’t get over how big Miss Lucie had gotten since her first photoshoot with me at just 3 days new. I happened to be in town when she was born and stopped by to meet her literally as I was driving back down to L.A. In just a short amount of time I was able to get some lovely shots of her and all her cheeks.. come on.. those cheeks are just scrumptious!
Miss Lucie 3 days new…
Miss Lucie now (cheeks just as scrumptious as before)
Waiting For Colby- Los Angeles Maternity Photographer
Tiffany and Sean live in my hometown. Sean and my husband have been friends since highschool.
I was beyond excited to be able to do their maternity photos on or trip to Northern Califorina last week.
(Oh yeah I don’t only shoot in Los Angeles, I am happy to travel!)
I was probably more excited about this shoot than I was for Easter!
We headed for the back roads of Vacaville for their shoot where we spent a few hours playing in fields.
And a video portrait to go along with all the cuteness…

I will be making a special trip back soon to meet Mr Colby!
Lex Marek is 3! -Los Angeles Children's Photographer
Today we celebrated the birth of my youngest son Lex. I think this quote sums up my photos shoot with my newly 3 year old tonight…
“Of all the animals, the boy is most unmanageable.” –Plato
Enjoy.. these photos truly are LEX!
Happiest of birthdays my sweet boy!

Red Thread Session -Los Angeles Adoption Photographer
After the adoption of this 7 month old cutie was final, her family brought her and her (also adopted) big brother to Griffith Park for a photo session. It was a joy meeting and spending the afternoon with them.
Parenting, I'm doing it right - LA Lifestlye Photography
I was on a businessish call today when I was interrupted by my 4 year old. She came in my room and said “ehhh hummm… I am going to read, this room is my library. Can you please be quiet?” She then grabbed a book and settled in for some quality reading.
You’re never too young to be prepared for the zombocalypse.
I think this picture may need to be blown up life size and displayed in our living-room!
Green Play dough -Tutorial In Photos!

Los Angeles Nursing Photography
I was invited into little Miss Quincy’s home to photograph her and her mother. Their living room was filled with bright colors and vintage furniture.
Quincy was full of smiles and very interested in me and my camera. So much that she was more interested in me than the thing I was there to photographer her doing… Nursing!
She would latch on then let go and look back at me.. latch on then let go and look back at me….
We were able to get a few nursing shots in but took the rest of the time getting some solo shots and a few of her just love’n on her mama.
Her mom told me after her shoot, when they went to lay down and nurse, Quincy was still looking for me and my camera! :::heart melts:::
